EL COMIENZO
Las aventuras empiezan siempre de la misma forma. Una parte de ti quiere quedarse en casa, estar cercana a su familia y amigos, continuar con la rutina y sentir tranquilidad. Otra parte de ti quiere irse, dejar esa rutina y vivir una nueva experiencia, conocer nuevas personas, nuevas culturas, nuevos mundos.A veces inclinar la balanza por alguna de las dos opciones no es fácil, pero en este caso caía por su propio peso en el lado de la aventura. Una necesidad por dejar la palabra crisis, corrupción, desempleo... y un largo etcétera, en mi rutinario día a día. Una nueva forma de mantener contacto con el camino que elegí, la conservación del medioambiente, en la mayoría de los casos tan poco valorada.
Espero que esta aventura me dé además de una experiencia, un nuevo comienzo cuando vuelva a mi hogar.
La nueva aventura se llama Servicio de Voluntariado Europeo, y me ha dado la oportunidad de encontrar un proyecto que encajaba con mi perfil, donde espero aprender muchas cosas.
La isla de Samos (Grecia) es mi destino, donde se encuentra mi organización de acogida, Archipelagos Intitute of Marine Conservation. No sé exactamente cuáles seran mis funciones, pero tengo 10 meses para averiguarlo.

THE BEGINNING
The adventures always begin in the same way. A part of you wants to stay home, be with your family and friends, keep the routine and feel calm. Another part of you wants to leave, leave the routine and live a new experience, meeting new people, new cultures, new worlds....Sometimes, tipping the balance for one of the two options is not easy, but in this case I have tipped the balance in the side of the adventure. A need to forget the word crisis, corruption, unemployment ... and so on, in my daily routine. A new way to maintain contact with the path I chose, environmental conservation, in most of cases an undervalued work.
I hope this adventure gives me as much an experience, as a new beginning when I come back home.
The new adventure is called European Voluntary Service (EVS), and it has given me the opportunity to find a project that fitted my profile, where I hope to learn lots of things.
The island of Samos (Greece) is my destination, where is located my host organization, Intitute of Marine Conservation Archipelagos. I don´t know exactly which my duties will be, but I have 10 months to find out.
